How medical abortion is done in Johannesburg?

Faith women's clinic offers abortions and pregnancy terminations in addition to free pregnancy tests at the Johannesburg location. Both walk-in visits and scheduled appointments are welcome.

A medical abortion uses medicine to cause the fetus to abort on its own. Medical abortions can usually be performed up until about sixteen weeks of pregnancy. In most cases, medical abortion requires two visits. At the first visit, you'll be given medication to take in the office and a second one to take at home. You can expect to have vaginal bleeding for about two weeks once the medicines take effect. During the second visit about two weeks later, Faith women's clinic will confirm the medical abortion was successful and ensure you're recovering well.
